Contractor Payment Tracker
This in-browser tracker adds payments per contractor and shows totals by method. It flags $2,000 for 2026 payments and excludes card and app payments.

Worked example
You pay one contractor $800 by check in February and $1,400 by ACH in July. The tracker totals $2,200 and flags the contractor at $2,000. A second contractor is paid $3,000 by app; that amount is excluded from the flag because app payments are reported by the processor. A third contractor gets $1,200 by check and stays below the flag.
Common mistakes
Entering card and app payments in the same bucket as check and ACH. Clearing browser data and losing the saved list. Forgetting that 1099-NEC is filed with the IRS by January 31.
Records to keep
Keep a copy of the tracker totals, payment confirmations, and W-9s. Note the method for each payment so the reporting source is clear.

Questions
Where is my data saved?
Only in this browser. Clearing browser data removes it.
What does the $2,000 flag mean?
It marks contractors whose 2026 payments reach the 1099-NEC and most 1099-MISC threshold.
Are card and app payments included?
No. They are excluded because the processor reports them.
