If a figure on this site looks wrong, the most useful thing you can send is the state, the inputs you used, and the number you expected. Every rate on the site is tied to a source document and a verification date, so a correction is checked against that source before it ships.
Corrections we have already made, and the sources they were checked against, are recorded in the site's changelog.

Paycheck State Calc is published by Shangyi Duan. The calculators run in your browser; the pay figures you type are not sent to us and are not stored. The method, the sources and the limits of each calculator are described on the how-it-works page.

Every rate on this site is tied to a source document and a verification date. If a figure looks stale or wrong, tell us the page and the number you expected, and we will re-check it against the primary document.
What we do not do
We do not prepare tax returns, give individual tax advice, or act as a payroll provider. The calculators estimate withholding; they are not a substitute for a filed return or a payroll professional.
