Corrections
A calculator that cannot be corrected is worse than one that was never right. Every report gets a date, the page it touched, what was wrong and the document it was checked against.
How to report a wrong figure
Use the contact form with the correction topic and include four things: the page or state, the inputs you used, the number the page gave you, and the number you expected. If you have the document that settles it - a pay stub line, a state notice, a page of the withholding guide - include that too. It turns a disagreement into a check.

This table is empty because no correction has been made and verified yet, not because nothing is watched. Changes that are not corrections - new states, new documents, new pages - are recorded on the changelog.
What happens to a report
- The figure is looked up in the data file the page renders from, together with its stored source URL and source quote.
- If the stored quote does not support the figure, the data file is corrected and the verification date moves; the page is regenerated from it.
- If the quote does support it and the difference is a modelling assumption, the limitation is named on methodology or on the page itself rather than quietly left out.
- If the published document has changed since it was read, the new document is transcribed and the state's page is rebuilt against it.
